Pine Rivers Community Finance Ltd (PRCF) owns and operates the Brendale and Samford Community Bank® branches of Bendigo Bank Ltd. The branches return a considerable amount of its profit back to the community in the form of sponsorships and grants to charitable and not-for-profit organisations for the benefit of the community.
Charitable and not-for-profit organisations can apply for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities. Contributing to their development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education, sporting or cultural areas. The base application criteria for any funding is as follows:
Must be for a not-for-profit purpose
Should have an ABN
Funding is generally limited to $5K per organisation, though larger joint ventures may be considered at times.
Must have a connection with the Brendale or Samford region
Applications must be received for the benefit of a recognised group (not an individual member of the community)
All successful applicants must attend a Grants & Sponsorships Workshop / Meeting prior to receiving funding
Must have an account & should demonstrate a willingness to engage in a long-term relationship with the Brendale or Samford Community Bank®
Must demonstrate a willingness to promote the Brendale or Samford Community Bank® Branch to their membership / stakeholders (a recommended promotional kit will be provided to successful applicants)
