Community Grant Round – How to Apply

18 March 2024

With our next major community grant funding round about to open for applications, we caught up with Mandy Bell to learn more about the application process and how not-for-profit organisations should prepare if considering making an application.

“We have made the application process as simple as possible for any not-for-profit wishing to apply for a grant of up to $10,000 in our funding round, which runs from 8th April to 5th May. The first thing to do is make sure you follow us on Facebook as any announcements about timings will be made there.”

“Secondly, visit our website https://www.prcf.com.au/community-funding/grants/ to familiarise yourself with the eligibility criteria. If you are not sure if you qualify or need help with any aspect of the criteria, you can contact us via  grants@prcf.com.au to arrange a discussion about your project and program and whether, in principle, it is something we can support.”

“Then it is a case of completing the application form to allow us to understand the project, its benefit to the community and how we can support it. All being well, your group could be another in the long list of organisations who have shared in over $1.2 million of funding from us.”

“Organisations such as Guide Dogs Queensland, Meals on Wheels and Rural Fire Brigade have all benefitted from our grants program, and we can’t wait for this next round to see if we can support more great initiatives that benefit our communities across the entire Samford, Dayboro and Pine Rivers region.
